Outsourced Bookkeeping & Payroll for US Businesses
Wrenfield Accounting provides outsourced bookkeeping, payroll processing, bank reconciliation and tax-ready books for US small businesses. We work in your QuickBooks Online or Xero file from India — which means work sent at the end of your day is often done by the next morning — and hand your CPA records they can file from.
US context
What US businesses need from their books.
General information to frame our work, last reviewed October 2026. Your tax advisor confirms what applies to your business.
- US.1
Tax-ready books for your CPA
Most CPAs charge more, and take longer, when books need cleaning before a return can be prepared. We reconcile every account, separate personal items and deliver a year-end pack in the format your CPA asks for.
- US.2
Payroll reporting
US employers withhold federal income tax, Social Security and Medicare, report quarterly on Form 941, and issue W-2s by January 31. We prepare the calculations and reports; your payroll provider or CPA files them.
- US.3
E-commerce and payment platforms
Stripe, PayPal, Shopify and Amazon pay out net of fees and refunds. We reconcile payouts to sales and to the bank so revenue and fees are recorded correctly.

Experience
We’ve done this work for US businesses before.
Our founder’s five years of hands-on accounting include client work for US businesses, alongside the US, UK, Singapore and India more broadly — in healthcare, manufacturing, e-commerce and a chartered accountancy practice.
About our teamClient reviews — coming from our first clients.
Wrenfield is a new practice, so you won’t find borrowed or invented testimonials here. Reviews from our clients will be published on this page word for word, with their permission. Until then, this is what we put in writing:
- A written scope and fixed fee before any work starts
- A confidentiality agreement before you share documents, if you want one
- Statements and year-end packs reviewed by a Chartered Accountant
- Work done in your own software — your data stays yours
US questions
Working with us from the United States.
Can you work with my CPA?
Yes — that is the usual setup. We keep the books and prepare the year-end pack; your CPA prepares and files your tax returns.
Do you file payroll or tax forms with the IRS?
No. We calculate payroll and prepare the reports and data for forms such as 941, 940, W-2 and 1099. Your payroll provider or CPA files them.
How do you handle the time difference?
Calls are scheduled in your time zone. Because our working day starts while yours is ending, routine work sent in the evening is often finished by the next morning.
How much does bookkeeping cost for a US business?
Bookkeeping starts from $199 a month, payroll from $79 a month for up to 10 employees, and year-end financial statements from $349. The final fee is confirmed in a written scope.
