Privacy policy
This policy explains what personal information Wrenfield Accounting (“Wrenfield”, “we”) collects through this website and in the course of our work, why we use it, and the choices you have.

Who we are
Wrenfield is a bookkeeping, payroll and accounting support practice based in India, working with businesses in the United Kingdom, United States, United Arab Emirates, Singapore and India. You can contact us about this policy at hello@wrenfieldaccounting.com or on +91 70475 88479.
What we collect
- Inquiry details you enter in our contact form: your name, email address, company, country, accounting software, approximate transaction volume, the services you’re interested in and your message.
- Messages you send us by email, WhatsApp or phone, and the contact details that come with them.
- Client records, if you become a client: the financial and payroll information you give us access to so we can do the work in our written scope. This may include employee personal data needed for payroll.
- Technical information that any website receives, such as your IP address and browser type, which our hosting provider processes to deliver the site securely.
We don’t use advertising trackers or analytics cookies on this website, and we don’t sell personal information.
How we use it
- To reply to your inquiry, arrange a call and prepare a quote
- To carry out the work agreed in your engagement letter
- To keep business records we are required to keep
- To protect the website and our systems from misuse
Where data protection laws require a legal basis, we rely on taking steps at your request before entering into a contract, performing our contract with you, our legitimate interest in running and securing our business, and compliance with legal obligations.
Who we share it with
We share personal information only with service providers who help us run the business, and only as much as they need:
- Website hosting and forms — Netlify, which hosts this website and receives contact-form submissions.
- Email — Google, which provides our email service.
- Messaging — WhatsApp (Meta), if you choose to contact us that way.
- Fonts — the website loads fonts from Google Fonts, which receives your IP address when a page loads.
- Our reviewing Chartered Accountants, who are bound by confidentiality, when they review work for you.
We may also disclose information where the law requires it.
International transfers
We are based in India and our service providers may process data in other countries. When you send us information from the UK, the US, the UAE, Singapore or elsewhere, it will be transferred to and processed in India and in the countries where those providers operate. We use reputable providers and contractual protections where they are available.
How long we keep it
- Inquiries that don’t lead to an engagement: up to 24 months, then deleted.
- Client records: for the period set out in your engagement letter, and as long as the law requires us to keep business records.
How we protect it
We work inside your own accounting software using access you grant and can revoke, and request only the access a task needs. We are happy to sign a confidentiality agreement before you share any documents. No system is perfectly secure, so please don’t send bank statements or other financial documents through the contact form — we’ll agree a secure way to share them.
Your rights
Depending on where you live — for example under the UK GDPR, Singapore’s Personal Data Protection Act, India’s Digital Personal Data Protection Act or applicable US state laws — you may have the right to ask for a copy of your personal information, to have it corrected or deleted, to object to or restrict certain uses, and to withdraw consent where we rely on it. To make a request, email hello@wrenfieldaccounting.com. You can also complain to your local data protection authority.
Changes to this policy
We’ll update this page if the way we handle personal information changes, and change the “last updated” date above.
