Questions
Bank Reconciliation: common questions.
How often should bank accounts be reconciled?
At least monthly. Businesses with high transaction volumes — e-commerce sellers in particular — benefit from weekly reconciliation so differences are caught while they are small.
Can you reconcile Stripe, PayPal, Shopify or Amazon payouts?
Yes. Payouts arrive net of fees and refunds, so we reconcile the gateway reports to your sales and to the bank deposit, and record the fees properly.
